The Chamber will collaborate with regional partners/stakeholders and focus on programs that will lead to the creation of competitive wage jobs in the service, manufacturing and retail sectors, including jobs that will benefit low to moderate income individuals.
Through the 14 Forward program, the Chamber is conducting an aggressive business recruitment program focusing on the industry clusters below. Through these efforts, our goal is to facilitate the creation of competitive wage jobs in the service, manufacturing and retail sectors, including jobs that will benefit low to moderate income individuals.
Residents of the Greater Killeen community have access to world-class education and job training at Texas A&M University-Central Texas (TAMUCT), Central Texas College (CTC) and Killeen Independent School District (KISD). The Chamber works with these institutions and local businesses to ensure training is relevant and meets the needs of employers. We will also help TAMUCT align economic development and research, and develop a Research Park focused on the emerging technologies listed below.
The Chamber collects and shares data using a variety of public and subscription-based sources. Staff also conducts data-related research and analysis on a case-by-case basis.
