  Dr. Sid and his wife, Jeanne, had five sons. They were raised in a natural, drug free, health care environment. Chiropractic philosophy was taught to each of the children early on: THE POWER THAT MADE THE BODY CAN HEAL THE BODY. Growing up, the boys would run into ''one of Dad's patients'' and that patient would tell the kids how much Papa Sid had helped them with their headaches or back pain or arm and hand pain. They would hear the same story that grandma had lived through: ''I have gone everywhere and tried everything and nothing helped except your dad and chiropractic. At church or at school, other patients would ask the sons to tell Dad ''thank you'' for helping them or someone close to them. Dr. Sid continued to help patients for 56 years until his untimely death in May 2005. Four of his five sons have followed in his chiropractic footsteps to become doctors of chiropractic. The other son is in the education field. (Yes, they love him, too!) Dr. Scott & Dr. Shawn work together in Killeen, while Dr. Skip practices in Temple, and Dr. Stan practices in Harker Heights. In September 2003, Dr. Jason Degenhardt (Dr. Scott's son-in-law) and then in September 2005, Dr. Shane Isdale (Dr. Scott's son) joined the practice. Dr. Shane and Dr. Jason now practice in Harker Heights at Corrective Chiropractic. In the tradition of helping as many people as possible, the Isdale's have also expanded their services to Copperas Cove where Dr. John Stockton practices. In January of 2008, Dr. Jessica Bryant joined the Killeen clinic with Drs. Scott & Shawn. |
